Director : Mysskin
Music : Arrol Carelli
Production house: VFF
Leads : Vishal , Prasanna , Vinay
Genre: Spy Thiriller
Censor Certificate: U/A

Story: The plot is simple one liner, spy thriller where the the lead star who is a detective removes a knot of series killing. Why the killing happens and how he removes the knot is all about this movie that runs close to 3 hours. Vishal plays the detective role named behind famous tamil poet Kaniyan Poongundranar supported by his friend Manohar played by Prasanna

Analysis & Performance: The film title starts credits to Sherlock Homes which makes us to sit straight to have something similar to that kind of film making for our tamil audiences. Movie is truely Mysskin's movie with all his trade mark styles like hero wearing coolers most of the time, new face heroine (Ravi Mariya as Mallika) different BGM tone (still i like it) , slow moving and typical train subway scenes (seen in Yudham Sei , Pisasu etc). Lead Detective character has been well established all through out the movie from starting scenes and others have played their part well. Andrea has the claps when she first appeared on the screen, however her portions are limited with not much dialogues. Bhagyaraj had played his part and we do not see typical Bhagyaraj's witty acting, shown different shades of him.

Screenplay-Music-Editing : We tend to expect slowness in Mysskin movie as that his is trademark, so no complaints, however we get to see the villan before interval which makes the movie flat with no twist and turns, while hero and villan are thinking ahead of shoes by each other, that punch is missing. Music has been great and suits the movie genere, Arrol has scored in that. Editing has been good with not too many cuts and gaps for this genere, he has put his signature on the intro scene of Vishal by showing the handy cam shoots for 20 secs before actual introductioon. The dialogue at the end saying Sorry should go well with audiences, while this is termed as spy thriller it should connect with both urban and village audiances

Flipside: The main flip side is too much of blood and gore, which might not go well with kids, but it is said as U/A. Some of the activities are inspiration from Sherlock Homes movies(scenes like where the hero talks different while the situation is different), some o the serious scenes brings out laugh to audiances which was witnessed in theatres. Lot of prominant actors like Thalaivasal Vijay, John Vijay,Jayaprakash were coming and going in few seconds, while it establishes Hero's importance, could have used them much better; Prasanna could have been utilized much better.

Overall it is worth a watch and Mysskin fan's would love this movie.
My view : 3.25 / 5

Go for it and you will like this movie
