Plot: A group of people who act as CBI and does raids and do a robin hood activities, how they are doing, reason for doing this and have they finally caught forms the story
Analysis & Performance: Surya shoulders the movie and does his job neatly, he has danced, acted and did everything to perfection. Keerti suresh as female lead has minimal role and does justice to the scenes where she comes. Ramya krishnan is more of the second hero in this movie and does her job to perfect. Karthick as police is refreshing to see. Suresh Menon as villan is fresh and should come one round in movies
Direction, Music & Screenplay: Next to Surya, Anirudh is key. All his songs were hit and he is going miles after every movie. Direction & screenplay, not much to comment as most of it has been inspired from Special 26.
Flipside: While the movie is during the period of 1980, there is nothing much that describes 1980 locality other than Keerti suresh hairstyles in certain scenes. Suresh Menon should have done his own voice, looks like GVM has done the dubbing and it is very obvious as it distracts us from watching Suresh on screen.
Overall , a genuine inspiration from Special 26
