Rating: U/A

High anticipated movie with 3 versions of Jr NTR which itself is a big treat to his fans and movie lovers.

Plot: This is a story of a triplet Jai, Lava &Kusa  where one has a difficulty in communication which creates differences, they get separated in child wood due to an accident and meets up again after 20+ years, are they united again, taking revenge , what happens in the climax is the story

Analysis & Performance: NTR stood out in the movie. When a lead star like NTR plays three roles, then there is going to be no scope of anyone else. NTR has grabbed this opportunity in both hands where he has played his role with ease. Be it a normal role as Lava, or easy going role as Kusa or a devil's role as Jai / Ravana. He has been all present all through 158 mins of run time as he takes responsibility of lead, comedian and also as a villan. He had showed variations in all three roles and there is a scene where all 3 come together facing camera for first time and if you watch closely you can see the variations in expressions and body language in all the three which proves his ability and shouldered the entire movie on him. Raashi Khanna had an extended role compared to Nivetha Thomas, however if a star like NTR does a triplet role, heroines will not have much. Apart from NTR, Sai has a meaty role and he has done his part well. Tamana comes in for an item number like any commercial movie at the end before climax and dance steps were laudable for this song.

INFOGRAPHICS

Music Direction & Screenplay: DSP has done his part well,BGMs were good and specially the BGM for Jai as Asura Asura is good one. Ravindra took a regular triplet story and weaved in such a way that one tries to take revenge on other two. First half of the movie is good and he has spent good amount on early stages to show why a lovable Jai becomes a demon and this change over has been built slowly that goes well with audiances. The sets were good and not much of costume required for NTR in his previous movies like Nanaku Prematho. Stunts and dance steps are as usual in any of NTR movies. Not compromising on climax is something need to mention.

Flipside: Second half of the movie was little slow and it drags to climax, could have been in a racy manner to avoid slowness towards the end. Maximum of second half, we see all 3 NTRs regularly, while there has been differences shown in acting and body language, all three looks alike. Movies gets into melo drama during later stage of second half, a racy movement could have avoided this feeling.

Overall - It is a treat to watch for NTR fans and if you ignore the minor errors, this is sure a blockbuster on the cards
My view: 3.5 / 5

TagLine : NTR in 3 roles, a blockbuster
