Oxygen - Telugu Movie Review

Production: S Aishwarya, A M Rathnam
Genere : U / A - Thriller
Director: A M Jyothi Krishna
Music : Yuvan Shankar Raja
Cast: Gopi chand, Raashi Khanna, Anu Emmanuel, Jagapathi Babu etc

A social message with all predictable commercial elements packed in it

Plot: A revenge commercial drama with all elements packed in it with a social message

Analysis & Performance:  As always Hero carries the movies and Gopi Chand does his best with his typical charm, being his 25th film he carries the movie on his shoulders. He dances well, fights well, emotes well. Raashi has a good screen space and also had the scope for acting and used it to her potential. Jagapathi Babu comes as a father figure and does his job with the limited screen space. Others did their part.

Direction, Music & Screenplay: Music is good and couple of songs sits in our memory. first song was written well and talks about the importance of telugu and goes well with everyone and fortunately it is also placed as introduction song. A M Jothi Krishna directs a movie after a gap of 5 years and this is worth a wait as the script, story and screenplay were far far better than earlier movies. Locations, cinematography were good. Twist during the interval block is a good move and keeps audiances in suprise and a good one.

Flipside : There are some areas that requires improvement, after the first half, second half is more predictable with flash backs etc, some of the scenes could have been little eloborate, scenes like using army team during vacations were already seen in earlier movies like Thuppaki etc.

Overall , a decent movie to go without expectations
My view: 2.5/5

Tagline ; Oxygen, decent time pass
